Sioufas & Associates Law Firm acted as advisor to the parties on the acquisition of Mezzanine and Junior notes from a securitization backed by a portfolio of non-performing exposures (“NPE”), originated by a Greek Systemic Bank, with a total gross book value of ca. €6b.
The foresaid transaction is a landmark, being the first acquisition on a servicer-release basis of a large-scale securitization in Greece, utilizing the Hellenic Asset Protection Scheme (“Hercules”) in Greece.
