On November 7th, we were extremely pleased and honored to sponsor the 7th Southeast Europe Energy Forum, organized by the American – Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and theHellenic Association for Energy Economics.

Our contribution was twofold: our associate, Theodora-Maria Ioannidou, supervising Attorney from our Thessaloniki branch, spoke on camera about the European Commission’s proposal, submitted on December 15, 2020, to amend Regulation 347/2013, and its impact on attracting new investments.

Our associate, Mariadina Lili, Attorney from our Athens offices, wrote an article entitled “Hydrogen, Biogas, and Green Gases: The Instant Energy Storage Solution,” which has been published by the ΑΠΕ-ΜΠΕ / Athens Macedonian News Agency. In her article, she discusses hydrogen, biogas, and green gases as sustainable energy storage solutions, highlighting their efficiency and potential in diverse sectors. Further, she examines their advantages, including scalability as well as the supportive regulatory frameworks in Europe and Greece. Finally, the focus is on their integration into the energy matrix for achieving carbon neutrality.
